Punk’s Cut Out Page – US Punk
Liz Kurtzman was involved with running CBGB’s and also a fine graphic artist. The below two page fashion spread called Punk’s Cut Out Page comes from PUNK magazine #11 from 1977 and features The Dictators, John Cale and The Clash. The spread was described as “Designed for those who like to play punk but can’t afford department store prices…”
Cut out your figure, select the clothes and accessories and stand them up. Print out a picture of CBGB’s stand them in front of it and play the Dead Boys very very loud!
