Carsick – Pub Watch
I caught Salisbury’s Car Sick by accident when I caught The Meffs in Birmingham and very glad I did too. Great attitude and a little different from the norm with some triggered samples, rappy style vocals about everyday life and gripes and a combination of dry and distorted guitars underpinned by growling bass.
There was one track that stuck out (the rest were good too!) and that was Pub Watch – it was so good I forgot the name (lol) and had to message the band. And now here it is and every bit (if not better with a slick tight production) as good as I remember it. It’s verging on drum and bass which is perfect to my ears and once it kicks in with its sledgehammer guitar its so fucking catchy and danceable you can’t help but want to get up and throw yourself against a wall. Top it all off with its pub subject matter that everyone will recognise and the song is a cracker.
Support the band by going to see them and/or buying shit here here

Carsick are brothers Joe (vocals) and Jack Richardson (guitar), and Jack Hardiman (bass) and Tom Armstrong (drums),
