Sidney Vicious

The Myth | The History Of Sid | Discography | Memories Of John

Classic Interview | Sid & Nancy - Media | Nancy | Alan Parker Interview 2007 | Sex Pistols

The Myth...
As sure as Robin Hood, Sid Vicious rides into the sunset and myth as fact and fiction blur. Punk77 makes the claim that Sid is public property.

The Sid I Knew...

Oh what happened to you? Mad Daddy looks back to being a kid and being at school and friends with Simon Richie (that's Sid to you!)

Jungle to release a double CD of Sid's last US shows.

The Life and Times
 of Sir Sidney

Old Punk Git gives a thorough history of the life and times of Sir Sidney, the Sex Pistols and Nancy's death.

Alan Parker
 Sid Vicious: Noone Is Innocent

Given a thrashing in print by Jah Wobble Mr Parker answers his critics, tells us about writing and explains why he's written a third book on Sid. Old Punk Git does the honours.

Nancy Spungen

You can't have Sid and not have Nancy and she's a fascinating character. Evil bitch who deserves to die seems to be the most common and worrying view. Another one is misunderstood kid with problems, murdered and maligned by history. Both views are here plus her history.

Ms Dayglo conducts the defence of Nancy.

 Life & Death | Nancy - A Woman Wronged | Nauseous Nancy

The Roxy London WC2
A Punk History

With the publication date looming ever nearer (October 2007) here's a chance to get a taste of the book in video and a sneaky peaky inside.

October will see a major update to the www.roxyclub77.co.uk site.

999- Nick Cash

999's brilliant newie 'Death In Soho'  is out now and Nick Cash kindly agreed to answer some questions about it and the band.

Two Seconds

Best Of MySpace

After all the sordid sex, drugs and death stories of Sid & Nancy its refreshing to have a band like Two Seconds to remind us that it doesn't have to be that way.

Two Seconds are two talented teenagers making a righteous racket and I fully agree with Mad Daddies assessment of them. Check them out and their interview. While you're at it don't miss the Indelicates, Varanes, (the wonderful)  Haunted George and Flotation Walls.

Haunted George

Punk In Paint

Let's add some more jollity to the proceedings. Every now and again the TalkPunk forum throws some classic threads and this to me is one of the best where famous Punk covers are rendered and interpreted in Microsoft Paint. It combines Punk Rock, invention, art, piss taking and importantly FUN!
